　　我们走向坡地上的小站

　　空旷 看不到一个人
( v: K& h  _( E9 `/ C  M　　道路左边 渐渐侵入的流沙群
, A: q. ^2 x, q　　在阳光下金黄地闪烁
　　两只追逐的狗 远远地
　　从路基上倾斜而下
5 G, Q7 Z# T3 M/ r# ~. g　　钻进了一片疲倦不堪的矮树林
　　那辆风狂的卡车
　　扔下我们 拖着尘土的长龙
　　很快地消失在山路的拐角上
　　阳光直射
# e5 c) h" h3 }+ X# L) n$ O　　再也听不到任何声音
, [7 L1 Q  O# Y1 g6 m# z+ U　　穿铁路制服的小伙子迎面走来
! p7 h1 L5 z; y, s- D　　突然终止了他缓慢的口哨声

　　The mad lorry
　　Threw us off and vanished quickly
　　In a trail of dust
# R7 }" ^( Q% E5 m" ?: P% }　　Round the bend of the hill road
0 A  l( {+ Z7 z6 Y" H* u1 z　　And all sound stopped
9 e& W2 |* @; b4 Y. Q0 @! a1 q& V　　In direct sunlight
　　The lad coming to meet us in railway uniform
　　Broke off his slow whistling

　　Swaying in the steaming draught
